Aviation Medicals
Dr James Oliver is an approved AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) for the Hong Kong, Australian and Canadian aviation authorities.
Medical test requirements for pilots vary depending on the following factors:
- Country of application
- Age
- Class of renewal
- Status – renewal or initial issue

This requires fasting – no carbohydrates for 8 hours prior to test |
Please note:
CAD requires pilots with high myopias (6/60 or worse) submit an ophthalmic report every 5 years. This must be done by an ophthalmologist.
Please allow around one hour for the medical to be completed.
